Jun 17, 2023GISATEX: From deck to interior lining, a wide range of materials
GISATEX has developed a range of different materials to insulate and cover the ceilings and hulls inside pleasure boats. Resistant, this lining material requires very little maintenance, while providing the comfort of life on board expected by the yachtsman. Both sides are water resistant for a long life.
Its insulating properties and its breathability allow it to avoid condensation in the cabins and saloon.
Easy to install, GISATEX insulating linings are flexible and stretchable. They can easily be installed on board during a cabin refit, while tolerating and masking the inevitable surface imperfections on a fiberglass hull or ceiling.
GISATEX insulations are offered with various finishes, with imitation leather or carpet look, in different colors. They are also available self-adhesive to facilitate installation.
GISATEX also handles interior cabin flooring, with carpet references, as well as exterior deck coverings. In particular, there is a range of non-slip PVC coverings, with the classic aesthetic of a teak deck or simply plain, while adding the advantages of durability against UV and salt, and non-slip. The material is 2 mm thick and is easily installed over a composite hull.
These different product ranges are the result of 40 years of development by the German company. GISATEX was founded in Reutlingen and has been working for many years in the world of boating and camper vans, present in many shipyards.
